WHAT IS THE
ADVANCED MECHANICAL PROGRAM
A standard home inspection doesn't consist of analyzing many of the inner components on an HVAC system. Per State and Industry standards, an inspector tests the system by the thermostat making sure it's operable, inspectors may remove the cover to the air handler and conduct a visual inspection on the unit. By having the Advanced Mechanical Inspection performed by our trusted HVAC companies, a technician will conduct a 30 Point in depth inspection. They'll check for pressure leaks and run diagnostic testing on the system. You'll also be eligible to receive an annual service agreement for half off the original cost.
ADVANCED MECHANICAL PROGRAM INCLUDES:
- Operation of thermostat in heat & cool mode.
- Operation of zone controls.
- Air filter size / clean or dirty.
- Outside, supply, & return air temp.
- Check voltage at indoor unit.
- Check indoor blower & note amp draw.
- Check condition of accessible duct work.
- Check primary & secondary drain pans.
- Voltage at outdoor unit.
- Outdoor fan & note amp draw.
- Check output of run capacitor.
- Check operation of defrost cycle.
- Electric heat size and wire size.
- Check proper air flow (note CFM).
